Winter Semester Packing List

January in Rexburg averages -12°C (10°F). Come prepared!

Essential Clothing

  • Heavy winter coat (rated for subzero)
  • Insulated waterproof snow boots
  • Thermal base layers
  • Winter hat that covers ears
  • Waterproof gloves or mittens
  • Scarf or neck gaiter
  • Multiple pairs wool socks
  • 2-3 fleece or wool sweaters

Car Winter Kit

  • Heavy-duty ice scraper & snow brush
  • Jumper cables
  • Emergency blanket
  • Collapsible shovel
  • Sand/kitty litter for traction
